With Lake Tahoe as your backdrop and the High Sierra as your playground, it's hard not to have a "picture perfect" family vacation or reunion. And at the Cal Neva Resort, we love kids! From our spacious rooms and family cabins, to our kids arcade and sprawling sandy beachs just moments from the hotel, the resort was designed with your family in mind.
No matter what the season, Lake Tahoe overflows with endless adventures to educate, entertain and exhaust (in a wonderful way) kids of all ages during your family vacation. In the summer, the Lake sets the tone for swimming, boating, paddleboarding, kayaking and long walks on the beach. Come fall, the seasonal turning of the trees provide a palate of Mother Nature's best for hikes in the hills, bikes on the trails and endless hours on the links. Winter and spring welcomes skiers and non-skiers alike with a true High Sierra haven filled with indoor and outdoor fun. Whether you choose to ski, snowboard, sled or skate, or prefer to curl up by our cozy fireplace, your entire family is welcome to stay and play as long as you'd like.
The Cal-Neva is invested in its surrounding community and works in partnership with local non-profits, such as Lake Tahoe's only private college: Sierra Nevada College. As an intricate part of the North Lake Tahoe community, the Cal-Neva remains dedicated to supporting area organizations that enrich our community. We were recognized in 2010 by the Placer/Lake Tahoe Film Office for our "Outstanding" support of Film and Media production in Placer County.
